Here is how buying and selling works on this website.
- All rings are owned by private individuals. These are collectors, athletes, relatives of athletes, etc.
- All rings for sale are authenticated by our team of experts.
- The privacy of Buyers and Sellers are always protected. Your name and private details will never be made public nor shared with any other third party.
- Employees at ChampRings.net will help facility the negotiations of terms of sale but the Buyer and Seller will always remain anonymous to each other.
As part of negotiating the terms of sale, the payment method and shipping/receiving of the rings will be determined. Here are the different options:
Method#1: For rings sold under $10,000.
- Special high security shipping fees will be added to the price. The exact price will depend on the value of the shipment and address of shipment. These vary between $100-$300.
- The Buyer will pay the full price of the ring plus shipping fees to ChampRings.net via credit card, debit card or bank transfer.
- The Buyer will have 10 days upon receiving the ring to decide if they will keep the ring or not.
If the Buyer decides not to keep the ring:
- The Buyer will be given a return shipping label and ask to return the ring back.
- The ring must be returned in its original packaging and not damaged in anyway. Any damage will incur repair fees.
- Once the ring is returned, the Buyer will get their money back in full minus shipping fees and repair fees (if any).
If the Buyer decides to keep the ring:
- If the Buyer decides to keep the ring, at that point the sale is final and the ring can no longer be returned.
- ChampRings.net will pay the Seller the money for the ring.
Method#2: For rings sold over $50,000.
- ChampRings.net will identify a law firm near the Buyer to help facilitate the purchase.
- The Buyer will pay the law firm “in trust” the cost of the ring, plus the lawyer fees, plus shipping fees that will all be determined ahead of time.
- The ring will be shipped to the law firm.
- The Buyer will have a chance to examine the ring in person at the law firm.
If the Buyer decides not to accept the ring, they money they paid the law firm will be returned in full minus the lawyer fees and shipping costs.
If the Buyer decides to keep the ring. Then the law firm will pay Champrings.net the price of the ring minus their fees. ChampRings.net will then pay the Seller the money for the ring.
For rings sold between $10,000 and $50,000. The Buyer and Seller will have to agree upon which method to use.
